THE WORSHIP COMMISSION The Worship Commission's focus is helping people experience God through their worship, assisting the pastor and staff in assessing, setting goals and implementing action based on the needs of the community. In addition, the Commission coordinates all liturgical aspects of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, infant Baptism, reception of sacraments, marriage preparation, Communion to the hospitalized and homebound and funeral celebrations. Commission Chairperson: Lee Lowis Worship Coordinator: 248.693.0440, ext. 209 FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION COMMISSION This body is a service group to the Parish Pastoral Council and to the other commissions of the council. It plans, recommends and with Council approval, implements actions on Parish financial support of the effective management and use of Parish resources. These resources include parishioners time, skills and talents and monies that are raised of offered.
Commission Chairperson: Bill Brunett Business Manager: 248.693.0440, ext. 208 COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE The Communications Committee was established to support the efforts of the parish council, commissions and pastoral staff through improved communications, both within the parish and outside the parish. The purpose of the committee is to evaluate current communication methods and develop vehicles for more effective.
Committee Chairperson: 248.693.0440, ext. 203 FAITH FORMATION COMMISSION The Education Commission exists to promote the religious formation of the entire Parish. The areas of concern for the commissions are Religious Education, Catholic Schools, Family Formation, Youth Ministry, Vocations and Adult Formation. Days and times of meetings vary according to the needs of the members of the commission.

CHRISTIAN SERVICE COMMISSION The Christian Service Commission exists as a model and resource of Catholic Social Teaching to enable the entire parish communion to put the social teaching of the church into action. The commission empowers the members of the parish to fulfill the church’s mission of love, justice, freedom, and peace by communally responding, in an organized way, to societal and individual needs. The Commission creates and/ or promotes programs which strive to address human needs and achieve justice whether locally or in the broader communities of Vicariate, Archdiocese, state, nation and world.
