St. Joseph School Parent Organizations

PARENT TEACHER GUILD
The PTG is an organization comprised of the parents, the faculty and the principal of St. Joseph School. Its purpose is to advance the welfare of the students, to promote an interest in educational affairs, and to provide ongoing communications between the school and the home.

One of the primary functions of the PTG is to raise funds to provide "extras" for the basic educational program at the school. Funds are raised trough the sponsorship of the annual Craft Fair held the weekend before Thanksgiving each year.

PTG meetings are open to all parents and faculty. The meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month either at 9:00am or 7:00pm. Please check the school calendar for this month's meeting date.


WELLNESS COMMITTEE
The Wellness Committee has been established to develop and maintain a safe and healthy environment at St. Joseph School. The committee is responsible for overseeing the physical and emotional safety of students as well as promoting, educating, and ensuring a healthy community at St. Joseph School. Wellness meetings are held on the last Monday of the month at 7:00pm in the Faculty Lounge. It is an open meeting to all parents and students.


SCHOOL COMMITTEE
St. Joseph School Committee consists of appointed/elected representatives of the various constituencies in the parish school. Its primary mission is to work with the faculty and administration of St. Joseph School to assure that operations are consistent with the school philosophy, parish goals and Archdiocesan guidelines.

The School Committee sponsors the Lenten Fish Fry which benefits the Tuition Assistance Fund. The School Committee also oversees the annual Reverse Raffle/Auction which benefits technology, the playground fund and building improvements.

School Committee meetings are held monthly beginning at 7:30pm. Please check the school calendar for this month's meeting date.


TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE
The St. Joseph School Technology Committee is a group of parents, faculty, and staff members dedicated to incorporating technology into the school environment so that lifelong learning is fostered and instruction is enriched.

Technology Committee meetings are held monthly at 7:30pm. Please check the school calendar for this month's meeting date.
